Molly is Three Today!

I can NOT believe my baby girl is three! My first baby, Molly Jean, was born on July 15th, 2006, at 3:17 AM. She came two months early and was only 3 pounds, 10 ounces. She blessed us that day and has continued to bless us every day after. She has a amazing spirit...full of sass. Even at three, she has a great sense of humor and keeps us all laughing. She's loving and affectionate...silly and playful...well behaved a majority of the time, but can pull out the attitude on occasion. I have so many wishes for her today....mostly that she'll be happy and always find the fun in life. I've loved watching her grow and look forward to seeing that continue. Molly Jean, mommy loves you so much!

Summer Fun!

We left for vacation on June 24th...came back on July 3rd. We had a family reunion on the 4th, and then Roger's family came to stay with us for a week. Everyone left today. It was a lot of fun and I love having company...but it is SO nice to relax! And since our houseguests consisted of two teenage girls, this is the first time I get to enjoy my computer in a while! Yey!

Summer, so far, has been pretty much a blast. My girls are responsible for that. Molly is about to turn three...and she is such a funny girl! She is so silly and full of sass! We laugh a lot! My Emma...is finally walking...and seriously has the funniest facial expressions I've ever seen. She makes me laugh out loud with just a look! She doesn't say many words...except dadda, juice, shoes, and up! But she is always talking her baby-gibberish which has to be my favorite language.

One fairly sad thought...this is my last summer for babies. Next year, my Emma will be a full-blown toddler. I don't want summer '09 to end! Gotta make the most of it! I'm sure there is a lot to look forward to though.....

Thank God for Kids!

These are my favorite kiddos in the whole world! Alli is 9...Anthony is 5...Molly will be 3...and Emma is 1. I love having all the kids at my place. Just having them arounds makes me feel like a kid...which is exactly what I needed today. It makes me forget that life can be kind of intense sometimes. I got some scary health news about a good friend of mine that really rocked me. Something no woman wants to hear...they found a lump in her armpit. Then my niece and nephew come...and it gives me a little escape. I was running around with them...rolling down the hill in the back of our yard...squeezing my big bootie into the kid-sized swings! It really gave me a much needed break! Now, of course, I'm back to worrying about my friend. I hope it's nothing...but could be something...can't find out until she has her baby in October! Only thing left to do is pray!
